CHANGES & MERGER

Hello! I'm currently in the process of merging my 3 sites to make it easier for me to keep everything up.

So all book tours that have a ROMANCE title will be posted to the new site instead of here on Booksniffer Book Reviews. All non-romance titles will still be posted here.

Those posts can be found here: http://loveineverypage.weebly.com/

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but it'll be better in the long run.

~Christina

My History in Reading:

When I was little I was obsessed with reading, especially the Thoroughbred series by Joanna Campbell. I loved reading anything with horses and I would try to get each one of the books as it came out. I was always really excited in elementary school when our class would have it's turn to go to the library. I would always head straight to the American Girls books.

But as I got older and reading became mandatory in school, I really just lost all enjoyment in it. I like reading a book because I want to not because I have to. I did receive a little spark back in middle school when I read Holes by Louis Sachar. There was just something about the book that sparked that enjoyment I always felt when I read a book. It could have been that the reading was required, but I got to choose what book to read.

In high school, I almost failed by first two years of English class because I just couldn't do the reading. I didn't find any interest in the books they chose. It wasn't until my last two years when they were choosing books that I really liked.

But my true love for reading really came back when I picked up the Twilight Saga near the end of my Senior Year. I felt a real connection to some parts of the story and I just couldn't put the books down. Then I started looking for similar books and just branched out from there. I even started reading TONS of Japanese manga (and watching anime).

My History in Book Blogging:

Blogging came later. About three years after I graduated from high school. My family was going through some tough times, and I needed something to keep my mind off of it. So when I saw on my Facebook newsfeed some links to book blogs, I thought that I'd like to give it a try. I've had a number of different blogs since then, but I wasn't happy with any of them until I created A Bibliophiles Thoughts on Books.

My History in Book Touring (Organizing):

In May of 2013, I created a book touring company called Booksniffer Review Tour, and then Booksniffer Book Reviews came shortly after that. We've worked with some great authors and I'm really excited to see where Booksniffer Review Tours will go.
